One man was shot on a school bus in Alabama, the Dale County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Sheriff Wally Olson said in a written statement the suspect had not been taken into custody.

CNN affiliate WTVY reported the person shot was a bus driver and that a child had been abducted by the shooter.

Olson said a command post had been established at Private Road 1539 and U.S. Highway 231 near Midland City, Alabama, in the southeastern corner of the state.

WTVY reported that authorities said a hostage situation was ongoing.

The cops stormed the bunker, killed the maniac and saved the little boy. Must be true, the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun. Worked this time, anyway. The boy is safe and the cops spared the taxpayers the exspense of a trial and long term incarceration of the scum.

I was wondering when something would happen. Thank god that child is okay. What a nightmare for the poor kid, and his parents.

How did they "storm" the bunker? Any details? 

Well, they had an itty bitty camera poked down in the tube ( at least I think that's where it was) and they said they could see the scum with a gun. The cops figured the little guy was in imminent danger, so they stormed the bunker, shooting the worthless scum bag, saving the boy.
