I bet he is hating leaving the balmy weather of SE Texas!! LOL Poor dog doesnt know what cold is, or didnt LOL
Has he had a chance to play in the snow yet?

Hey Shandra!!
Actually, I do believe he's liking this cool, albeit wet, weather. Sarge likes mud, ugh, and we have plenty of it right now. I SO wish it was
snow, but not to be. Its rain :(

I introduced Sarge to the 4 wheeler the other day and he had a BLAST. 4 miles easy peasy for him. He was slightly unsure at first because
he stuck his face in the exhaust, silly dog! 4 wheeler had just started, so was not hot, thank goodness.

I'm putting him on odor starting sometime this week (LOL!) and if I go to club Sat., then he will come with Nero, Cera and I.

Sarge is quite the character! I don't think I have any rogue balls left out in the yard, and he has officially stolen every stick in sight. LOL His
fav. weighs about 4lbs.

Hey Shandra, Eval went EXCELLENT!!! They are going to send him for hip, elbow and spine xrays and provided they are acceptable for a working dog,
he will be shipping out to Alabama to start training as an explosives detection K9 for the US Military. Thought you would like to hear the good news!

OMG!! That is so awesomely excellent!! I sure hope all the xrays turn out good, he needs a good job :)
If he makes the grade be sure to let me know ... maybe they would be nice enough to send a pic of his graduation ( if they do that) so I can send it to the shelter, They can put it on the wall of their successes ( and I can add it to mine LOL) :)

I absolutely know without a doubt that he will do an excellent job, especially after "searching" me and "alerting" on my pocket
that I forgot to take his ball out of LOL! He's already got the passive alert down pat :)

I hope that there will be at least one picture. May not have a handler in it due to the sensitive nature of the work he will be doing..
OPSEC Need to keep our guys safe! BUT I may be able to convince them to hand over a dog only photo :)

Fingers crossed xrays come out clean!

This is really nice news to read about. I'm sending positive vibes to Sarge for clean x-rays.
