I'm so so so so glad you decided to do the surgery, too--cost aside, the aftercare required a serious commitment on your part and was no cakewalk, and lots of folks would have a difficult time trying to arrange their schedules to accomodate what the dog needed post-surgery.
Yes, a picture of Kaiser running full-tilt would be a good thing to look at right about now. :)

It is wonderful to hear that the surgery has turned out so well, and given both of you the future you deserve. It sounds like you are doing exactly what you should have been doing from day 1 - enjoying yourselves.
Congratulations on the DM test too, the more dogs tested the better IMO.
Looking forward to seeing those photo's!

Fantastic news Chrissy about Kaiser. It's heartwarming to read about successful operations and dogs being able to lead a full life.
Way to go Kaiser and as everyone else has said, pictures would be good...
