Both my female GSD's are about 65lbs working weight, so don't need a exlarge crate. Or any other suggestions?
Thanks, Carol

Midwest sells "SUV crates" that fit side by side. They are 36" or 42" long like normal but I think only 21" wide instead of 24"+

I have a friend who bought a used slant-front aluminum crate from a hunter. The thing was so light, it was no problem for even a small person to carry upstairs. I'd love to get a couple for my dogs, if at all possible. by GSDXephyr on 25 March 2010 - 19:03
petedge.com is the cheapest I've found for midwest crates, other than ebay sometimes. I just adopted a third dog and have been looking at those myself.

They were even nice enough to one left side hinge and one right side hinge door so that I could have both open without swinging into the other.
I had a Mercedes ML350 that they fit into. I just had to have the airline rail removed to make them a flush fit.

I have been able to get two good sized crates in the blazer with the back seats down, just not side by side and not without the seats down:)) When I haul one dog, I have one with a side door that can be fit sideways (back seats up) but alas, my gsd has rather outgrown that one:))
thanks for asking this question, I'll be checking out kustom krates
