They are actually attempting to rewrite the Bible, because it's "too liberal"! No joke, seriously. The inscribed word of God Himself has to be changed to include conservative ideas. I'm actually speechless, so here you go.

That's ridiculous. The single most important aspect of translation may be simply conveying the intent of the author toward the original audience. At that point, one can apply a variety of interpretations. The idea that you should enter such an undertaking with incredible bias undermines the integrity of the entire project, IMO. Not to mention, that considering what I read on the link, we evidently are no dealing with the brightest theologians to have graced humanity.

The endeavor in question is in fact a great disservice to biblical Christianity, and is in keeping with the politicization of faith through the machinations of spiritually and morally bankrupt institutionalized religions which continue to masquerade as truth.
