It also bugs me when the ads won't even list the NAME of the dog, not that I am curious, but it's like the dog matters so little to them that they will definitely mention having her bred but not even care to mention her name....

VomRuiz  check out the lack of muscle on the rear leg/thigh especially... that's where the degree of undernurishment shows the most in the photo.  I'm sure that if you were to lay hands on her shoulder, shoulderblade and spine you'd find that the hair covers a great deal.   She's definately out of condition beyond being just a bit thin... and should not be offered with a breeding as in her condition it could be dangerous to her.

You're probably right Windwalker, after looking at her a few more times, she looks pretty rough. I hope she gets a good home.

The Owner needs to be treated the same way for at least two months then put up a Pic and we can compare to see if they are right in how they have treated  this dog

Look at the spirit in her posture, her face, & stance. She deserves a chance to shine. I'm sure she would for someone. Poor girl...she still has a noble look to her. Some good person buy this dog & change her life! jackie harris

Maybe we all should PM or email this breeder and express our thoughts. I am going to. So sad... and it makes me furious.

She is almost three in December, IF you all had done a little of your homework, she is out of TWO VA parents, Nana Veracruz is her name.  Superior Pedigree. Incredible structure as well.  In Germany, and as with so many breeders here in the usa, once the dog has her SchH1, she is a broodbitch, whether show material or not.  They are likely exagerating that she will be in heat in 2 months, a sales approach many breeders use everywhere.  My female with pups now 9 weeks old looks like hell too no matter how much food and super supplements i pump into her.  NO coat on her AT ALL.  In about a month she will start looking decent again.  This seller just appears in a hurry and should have used an older picture instead of being honest and using a current one.   So my guess is she had a litter 2 months ago, they are counting back 6 months since she was in heat, that leaves 2 months so she can be bred again. (to their opinion IF she had a litter)  In Germany you are allowed 2 litters in a row of 8 pups. (then skip one)  Only 8 pups can get pink papers.  Any additional pups must be fostered by another Dam. That is pretty strict, but its done with the best interest of the dams no doubt.

I am not a breeder, but I've seen quite a few brood bitches and I've never seen one that looked that bad, who was being cared for properly.  This is just my observaton, based on the photo. Personally I don't care what her bloodlines are- it doesn't change her condition. It is the welfare of the dog that is concerning.

I want to add that although I have never been a breeder of dogs, I have bred horses in the past. If a broodmare is properly fed and  cared for she will look equally as good as any other horse in the barn. We kept our foals with the mares for 6 months and when those foals were weaned the mares still looked in great condition. They were always in good flesh, with shiny coats and bright eyes.  I am sure it is no different with dogs.
