I think light eyes are sometimes gorgeous, too, but I wouldn't breed for them or breed a dog w/very light eyes. I have one w/light eyes for sale now, and I think she has beautiful eyes, and they look great w/her black face, but still...it's a slippery slope, MH23. I don't think Rookie's eyes are so light that he shouldn't be bred, but I would be very careful what bitches I paired up w/him to try to overcome that. But that's just me and I'm super picky.

OMG....thats little Lutz?....wow he had grown up so fast! He is just gorgeous!!!! One of the most beautiful dogs I seen from puppyhood into a tenager! Thanks for posting!

Poster boys! Another pin up GSD from Kim.....! And Rookies' eyes are not light, it's just his coat color is so dark & rich that they'd have to be black eyes not to contrast a little.....it's not that they're light, they are correct.

And Sadie does have light eyes, but she's still gorgeous!

Dream on jackie, dream on.......one of these days Kim, I swear, a Rookie pup will come to me!! But not until I have a little more room! **sigh**

The Dobie in the back belongs to my friend Suzi. He is AWESOME. Just turned a year old and is doing really well in the AKC/UKC/INTERNATIONAL show rings and also starting Sch on Sunday. I will try and post a current picture of him..

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I do LOVE my boy and think he produces some really nice pups.
