He is a very nice young male. Good head, high withers, good substance, representative of the Ando type. I would prefer more angulation in the front and less in the rear. The roundness of his back is the norm today as is deep rear angulation. Best Wishes, Jonah
No opinions but a question - is that photo "touched up"?
Why you ask that Blitzen?
Because of the front legs? It's likely the color's have been "enhanced" I see alot of that..
I think the topline doesn't look quite right. It's not just this dog, I've noticed the same thing in other photos and am wondering if some of these dogs are photoshopped from one background and superimposed on a different one? It alwasy looks to me like the dogs have been cut from other pages like paper dolls. I guess it's not a big deal if that's really the way the dog looks. Sometimes the leg and underbelly coat looks normal, just the backline looks questionable to me.
As far as color goes, the red always looks almost too red to me. The dogs I've seen are not that red. I've come to expect to see Irish Setter red GSD's LOL.
this photo is absolutly touched up!!!
wait until you see him in real life and take a REAL ORIGINAL Photo of him and let us see :-)
Good luck
Funny, Desertrangers was the only one to respond with a personal attack. I don't recall the masterbation thing but If you do, DesertRangers, perhaps there is something to be said about you dwelling on that subject that you need to deal with, Hmmmm?
Now, for all of you who didn't spew your personal vitriol for my "toungue in cheek" comment about fine working dog folks (of course this board is made up of them), my many thanks.
Ok old-timer with CML (convienent memory loss) here is your quote. If in doubt go read it yourself!
" ah, use your hand to stimualte him a bit to build the drive. Once he gets going a little, push him away and let him come back for more. Stimulate him again with your hand. Not too much now. You don't want to over stimulate and have him tie outside. Just enough to get him worked up a little. Push him away again. Now, you are getting him worked up and you should have built up his drive sufficiently to breed the female. If not, you have a problem.
Not funny and not un-expected..You be nice in your response to my posts and I will do the same. You attack me and I fight back. Everyone on this board knows that.
Actually I was looking at your old messages and came across your masturbation post so apparently you still have some vague memories of your sex life?
The real story is why you would breed a female to any male GSD who did not have enough sex drive to breed a female? If I brought my female to be bred and the male had no interest in her while in full heat, then no way would I allow her to be bred to him. Why in he world would you stimulate a dog? Maybe you get your jollies? lol
Actually, in reading that, I do remember posting it and just congratulated myself for proffering such good advise.
It is evident that you are very inexperienced as a breeder and don't understand that there are a host of reasons that a male often needs stimulation to get him going. I've seen it done by top breeders in Germany many times.
But, I am off topic here and into a pissing contest with you which I will no longer engage in. Have it your way. Whatever makes you happy sunshine.
